Description

The AquaSafe system combines highly stable wire mesh with patented polymer containers. These containers are filled with water on site, ensuring a high level of stability and impermeability – without the need for heavy machinery or complex ground work. Thanks to the sophisticated design, the system can be set up easily and dismantled just as quickly.

The wire mesh is made of corrosion-resistant steel with a zinc-aluminum coating that guarantees a service life of over 100 years. The polymer containers can be used several times and are characterized by their robustness and easy handling. AquaSafe is designed to withstand even extreme conditions – tested and proven under simulated flash floods, wind speeds of up to 170 km/h and hurricane impact tests.

Fast assembly – maximum efficiency

The AquaSafe system sets new standards in terms of speed and user-friendliness:

• Installation: 50 linear meters can be installed in one hour with just four people. Thanks to the modular design, the system can be easily adapted to different terrains and application requirements.
• Dismantling: Dismantling is just as easy – 50 linear meters can be repacked by two people in just one hour. There is no residue or hazardous waste, which makes the system particularly environmentally friendly.

AquaSafe is optimally prepared for transportation and storage. A packaging unit with a length of 50 meters fits on a standard pallet (1x1x1.8 m). This makes the system space-saving and flexible to use.

Scope of delivery

Each AquaSafe system is supplied in practical packaging units that ensure quick and uncomplicated handling. The scope of delivery includes

• Pre-assembled mesh modules:
  Each unit comprises 5 pre-assembled modules that can be easily connected together. The sturdy grid modules are made of high-quality, zinc and aluminum-coated wire, which is durable and corrosion-resistant.
• Multi-layer polymer containers / bags:
  These water-resistant containers are filled with water on site and offer a high level of stability and impermeability thanks to their own weight. They are reusable, particularly robust and a central component of the system.
• Fastening elements:
  The scope of delivery includes reusable connectors that ensure the mesh modules are held securely in place. These connectors ensure a stable connection, even under extreme conditions such as strong winds or high water pressure.
• Spirals:
  In addition to the connectors, the spirals make it easy to assemble the modules. They securely fix the individual elements and are designed so that they can be quickly assembled and disassembled.
• Protective tarpaulin:
  A large protective tarpaulin is also included. It provides additional protection against dirt, stabilizes the entire system and makes dismantling easier as it prevents the ingress of mud or dirt.
• Reusable plastic pallet (for 25 m and 50 m):
  The 25 m and 50 m versions are supplied on a robust, reusable plastic pallet. This pallet ensures easy transportation and space-saving storage. It is also extremely durable and can be used multiple times.
